New Year's Day Games Called Off

Following the Government announcement on Wednesday regarding tier changes, the Northern Premier League has confirmed the postponement of four games that were due to go ahead on January 1.
The four games were:
Clitheroe v Colne
Kendal Town v Widnes
Marine v Prescot Cables
Runcorn Linnets v City of Liverpool
The league awaits further clarity surrounding the new tier restrictions.
An update will be provided to clubs next week after all of the relevant meetings have been held, including with the FA, Alliance Leagues, Trident Leagues and league management committee. Source: thenpl.co.uk
