Dave Challinor has praised Hartlepool United

The 2-0 win over Solihull Moors was Pools’ sixth straight home win and puts the club firmly in the automatic promotion race.
Goals from Luke Armstrong and David Ferguson saw the side return to second in the National League table.
Challinor admits it may not always be pretty but he has praised his side for the way they are grinding out successive wins on the bounce.
Reflecting on six wins in a row at home, Challinor said: “It’s a really good sign, we’ve got things going again at home which we had towards the back end of last season.
"We found it tough to pick up results at home at the start of the season and you can speculate on lots of reasons for that but ultimately we didn’t win games, games we should have won.
"Then pressure builds but at the moment we’re finding ways to win and it’s not always pretty but we’re grinding out results and this league, this country at this time of the year dictate that you have to be able to do that and they’re doing that brilliantly at the moment.”
Pools were missing Gavan Holohan and Nicky Featherstone, with Tom White making his debut.
Next up for Pools in a busy month of National League fixtures is a trip to Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday afternoon.
On his team selection, Challinor added: “It was tough to choose the side.
"We contemplated going with a front three and playing two in the middle or going with an extra midfield player.
"Probably because of the fact Tom [White] is short of minutes just made it easier for us to go with another set of legs in midfield and see where it took us later in the game.
