Oldham boss Harry Kewell no longer in charge

Harry Kewell has been removed from his role as manager for Oldham Athletic after only seven months of being in the position. The club has witnessed a revolving door for managers coming and going as it has seen seven managers in a span of 3 years.
Oldham has received victory in only one of their last six games and stands at number 16 in League 1 after a goalless draw with Southend United. The club has won 17 out of 41 fixtures under Kewell’s management.
Kewell says he is leaving “without any regrets”. Leaving with him is his assistant Alan Maybury and a replacement for both is expected to be announced soon.
