Notts County complete loan signing of defensive duo

After several of their defenders succumbed to injuries, Notts County has welcomed defenders Kenton Richardson and Mark Ellis to their squad on loan.
21-year-old Richardson is joining from Sunderland A.F.C until 5th April. The right-back made his debut with Hartlepool United before signing with Sunderland on a two-year contract in 2020.
Making his way to Meadow Lane is Mark Ellis, aged 32, from Tranmere Rovers until the end of the season. The centre-back began his career with Bolton Wanderers and has since gained experience with clubs like Torquay United, Carlisle United, Shrewsbury Town, and Crewe Alexandria.
The addition of this much-needed defensive reinforcement might provide Notts County the spark they need to reignite their promotion push.
