Goalkeeper Jim Atkinson extends stay with Workington

Workington has confirmed that their goalkeeper Jim Atkinson has committed to another season with the club.
Atkinson started off his career with the Scottish professional club Queen of the South. He joined Workington back in 2019 and has been the number one keeper since. He has made 47 starts with Workington and has kept a remarkable 21 clean sheets. The 26-year-old will now get to build on these stats as he will be staying with the Reds for another season.
According to the club’s website, he said that he is happy that this signing took place and that he is eager to get ready for the next season.
