York City: National League North club furloughs all staff and players

As the club faces another financial crisis, York City has been forced to place its players and staff on furlough.
The National League North season was declared null and void after a league vote by all the clubs, which is what ultimately forced York City to make this tough decision. This is the second time the club has had to furlough all players and staff within the span of the last twelve months – the last time being in April of 2020.
This decision is yet to be approved by the FA Council.
