Why Joan Luque was left out of the Weymouth squad on Saturday

Weymouth manager Brian Stock made the decision to drop midfielder Joan Luque from the squad on Saturday as the club took on Wealdstone. The club managed to defeat the Stones 4-0 despite his absence.
Luque joined the Stones back in January from Maidstone United and has since made eight appearances for them, but has yet to score a goal.
Stock has explained why he chose to drop Luque despite him starting the last two fixtures for the club, which were against Dagenham and Wrexham. Stock described Luque as a ‘fantastic’ footballer but felt that his last two performances were sub-par. This is why he felt that midfielder Jordan Ngalo deserved the chance to come on the field more.
