South Shields FC lose midfielder

The midfielder made 19 appearances for the first-team after graduating from the club’s academy in 2019.
Manager Graham Fenton said: “It’s really sad that it has come to an end with Arron Thompson.
“He has been an absolute pleasure to work with and has represented the club unbelievably well during his time with the academy and the first-team.
“I’m sure he will go on to do well because of his attitude, application and ability.
“Unfortunately he won’t be continuing on the journey with us at this time but you never know what might happen in the future.
