Terriers show bite at Boldon

Bedlington Terriers were beneficiaries of the top 3 all dropping points in the Northern League Division 2 with a crushing 7-3 win over mid-table Boldon Community. A hat-trick from Joseph Thompson, 2 from Matthew Hayton, Joe Ames and an own goal were enough despite a late rally fron the home side to take all 3 points back to Doctor Pit Park. The result leaves Bedlington 8 points off top spot with a game in hand and means the Terriers complete a league double over Boldon.
67 were in attendance for this 10 goal thriller.
