- Scott Rogers Testimonial Tiverton Town v Exeter City. Friday 9th July 2021
Son of ex Tivvy player Peter and cousin of manager Martyn Rogers Scott will always be considered a Tivvy legend for his last minute goal at Wembley Stadium in 1999 as Tiverton beat Bedlington Terriers 1-0 to win the FA Vase for the second time. Scott scored 49 goals in 397 appearances for the yellows. In 2003 he joined Forest Green Rovers and then went on to play for Bath City, Newport County and Chippenham Town before moving into management in 2013 when he became the new Willand Rovers manager leading them to the 2015 Les Phillip's Western League Cup Final where they beat Barnstaple Town. Scott then decided to take up a dual role at Tiverton Town as a player-coach.In 2019 he became joint manager with Martyn Rogers. The next step in his career will hopefully see him guide Tivvy to the national league.
