Tiverton Town 1 Swindon Supermarine 1
The visitors started brightly and had a chance in the first minute which Lewis Williams in the Tivvy goal saved well with his legs. The first half was a real end to end affair with both teams creating several chances.
On 18 minutes Tivvy nearly broke the deadlock when a Andy Watkins volley sailed just over the bar. Swindon broke quickly and striker Kotwica bent his shot which was heading for the top corner until Williams brilliantly tipped it over the bar for a corner. The half finished goalless but was probably the best half Tivvy have played this season. The second half was very much like the first with both teams creating chance after chance with both keepers pulling off some great saves to keep the score level. In the 54 minute Tivvy finally made the breakthrough when a Gary Warren header was well saved by Horsell in the Swindon goal the ball fell to Olaf Koszela who smashed the ball into the roof of the net to put the yellows 1-0 up. But straight from the re start Swindon went up the other end and a Harry Williams header found the back of the net to make the score 1-1. The game continued with both teams looking for the winning goal but it was not to be and the final score was Tiverton Town 1 Swindon Submarine 1 which was probably the right result in what was a great game to watch.
