Southern League sides had a mixed bag of results in today's FA Cup ties. Frome Town pulled off the biggest shock win of the day beating National League South side Oxford City 2-1. Another cup upset saw Southern League Division One South side Sholing win 3-1at Southern League Premier Division South side Tiverton Town. A local derby cup tie saw Weston Super Mare beat close rivals Taunton Town 5-1. Hayes and Yeading United took their great league form into the cup and won comfortably 5-0 against Tonbridge Angel's. Another team to score five goals was Havant and Waterlooville who beat Beaconsfield Town 5-3. Wimborne Town won a seven goal thriller at Basingstoke Town by a 4-3 scoreline. Other Southern League sides to progress in the cup were Cirencester Town who won 3-1 against Hamworthy United. Yate Town were 2-0 winners against Gosport Borough.Harrow Borough won 2-0 at Welling United. Several Southern League sides said goodbye to the cup today , Walton Casuals lost 3-0 at home to Hampton and Richmond, Truro City lost 1-0 at Hungerford Town while Chesham United lost 1-0 Chestsey Town . Several lived to fight again Poole Town drew 1-1 with Chippenham Town. The Met Police and Farnborough also drew 1-1. Lymington Town and Hereford played out a 2-2 draw. Kings Langley drew1-1 at home against Leiston .
