The first twenty minutes saw Tiverton pushing forward looking for a breakthrough but they couldn't find the finishing touch to their moves. A Mat Wright header goes through to Olaf Koszela but his shot is well saved by the Wimborne keeper. On thirty four minutes the visitors break away but their shot went high and wide and out of the ground. Tivvy went close just after that but Koszela shot wide of the goal. Just before half time Tivvy made the breakthrough when a Jordan Lam header is tapped home by Olaf Koszela to give Tivvy a halftime lead of 1-0.
The second half saw Tivvy looking for their second goal but a Kyle Egan shot which was brilliantly saved by the Wimborne keeper was the best they could offer and the final score was Tiverton Town 1 Wimborne Town 0
