Southern League Premier Division South and Division One South
With two games gone in the season there are only three teams with a 100% record. Swindon Supermarine are top of the table after a 4-1 win against Hendon. Truro City are in second place beating Dorchester Town 4-0. The only other team with two wins to their name is Met Police who won 2-0 away at North Leigh. Weston Super Mare are in fourth spot after a 3-0 win against Gosport Borough and Bracknell Town sit in fifth spot after winning 3-1 at Merthyr Town. Other teams who won on their travels were Tiverton Town who won 4-2 at Poole Town and Hanwell Town who won 3-2 at Yate Town. Beaconsfield Town Chesham United and Hayes and Yeading United all enjoyed home wins with Beaconsfield beating Plymouth Parkway 3-1 Chesham beating Hartley Wintney 1-0 and Hayes winning 1-0 against Salisbury.
Harrow Borough and Winchester City drew 1-1.
In the opening weekend of the Division One South season Paulton Rovers find their self on top after a 4-1 win against Lymington Town.
Exmouth Town are in second spot after a good 3-1 win at Melksham Town. Sholing are in third place after beating Slimbridge away by the same 3-1 scoreline. Wimborne Town were also 3-1 winners when they won at home against Cinderford Town. Hamworthy and Tavistock both enjoyed away wins with Hamworthy winning 2-1 at Bideford and Tavistock winning 1-0 at Larkhall Athletic. Both Afc Totton and Bashley won 2-1 at home with Totton beating Bishops Cleave and Bashley beating Bristol Manor Farm. There was also a home win for Frome Town who beat Evesham United 1-0. Willand Rovers and Westbury United played out a 0-0 draw.
