Gosport Borough 2 Tiverton Town 1

It was a early kick off at Privett Park for the Southern League Premier Division South game between Gosport Borough and Tiverton Town. Tivvy got the game underway and had a couple of early chances but it was the home side who struck first when on ten minutes a cross into the Tiverton box was met by Brett Williams who put the ball passed   Lewis Williams in the Tivvy goal to put Gosport Borough 1-0 up. Tivvy went looking for a equaliser and had a couple of half chances but it was Gosport who nearly scored again when a Brett Williams header hit the Tiverton bar. Tivvy's only real chances were long range efforts from Niall Thompson and Tom Purrington which were both easily saved by White in the Gosport goal.
On thirty eight minutes Dan Wooden made it 2-0 to the home side but injured himself in the process and was replaced by Kyal Williams and the half finished 2-0 to the home side.
The first real effort of the second half came on fifty two minutes when Harvey Rew shot just wide of the Tiverton goal. Tiverton made a double substitution with Ollie Mehew and new loanee signing Prince Henry coming on for Joe Oloughlin and Kane Simpson. Tivvy were struggling to find a way through the Gosport defence and made their final change on seventy two minutes with Dylan Jones replacing Joe Belsten and three minutes later Tivvy were back in the game when a Prince Henry Cross was met by Niall Thompson who made it 2-1. Tiverton continued to press looking for the goal that would earn them a point but the Gosport defence held strong and the game ended
