Southern League Premier Division South and Division One South

The battle of the top two in the Southern League Premier Division South was won by second place Truro City who travelled to top of the table Weston Super Mare and came away with a 1-0 victory which closed the gap at the top of the table to just one point. Third place Chesham missed the chance to close the gap at the top when they were beaten 5-2 at Beaconsfield Town. Met Police are in fourth place after a 2-0 win against Hanwell Town. Poole Town are in fifth place despite suffering a 4-0 defeat at Plymouth Parkway.
There were plenty of goals in the other games in the Premier Division with Swindon Supermarine winning a seven goal thriller 4-3 at Dorchester Town. Merthyr Town were 5-0 winners against Salisbury while Gosport Borough won 3-2 at home against Hayes and Yeading United. Other results saw Bracknell beat Winchester City 3-1 Hendon were 3-0 winners against Harrow Borough and the same 3-0 scoreline saw North Leigh win against Hartley Wintney. The only goaless game of the day was a 0-0 draw between Yate Town and Tiverton Town.
In Division One South leaders Sholing were held to a 1-1 draw by Lymington Town which gave second place Totton the chance to close the gap which they did with a 2-1 win at Westbury United. Third place Hamworthy won 5-0 against Larkhall Athletic. Wimborne Town are in fourth place after a 2-0 victory against Tavistock.
Fifth place Exmouth Town were another side to score five when they beat Frome Town 5-0. Other results saw Melksham Town win 2-0 at Bashley while there were home wins for Bristol Manor Farm 2-1 against Willand Rovers and Paulton Rovers 3-2 against Evesham United while Bideford and Slimbridge drew 2-2.
