Southern League Premier Division South and Division One South


Top of the table Weston Super Mare who were beaten at home in mid week dropped more points at home when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Met Police this gave second and third place Truro City and Bracknell Town the opportunity to close the gap when they played each other and it was Truro City who came out on top when they won 3-0 at Bracknell. Fourth place Chesham United also dropped points in the race for promotion when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Winchester City. The same can be said of Poole Town who also drew 1-1 when they visited Hartley Wintney. Hayes and Yeading United were 4-0 winners against Dorchester Town. The same scoreline saw Plymouth Parkway claim the points against Harrow Borough. Salisbury were another side to score four goals when they beat North Leigh 4-2. Swindon Supermarine and Tiverton Town played out a exciting 3-3 draw. Other results saw Beaconsfield Town beat Yate Town 3-2 while there were away wins for Hanwell 2-0 at Gosport Borough and Hendon 2-1 at Merthyr Town.
In Division One South top of the table Sholing won 3-2 at Frome Town. Second place Totton who are hot on the heels of the leaders also won away from home when they beat Slimbridge 1-0. Third place Hamworthy beat Westbury United 3-2. Fourth place Wimborne Town won at home against Willand Rovers 2-1 while fifth place Tavistock won 1-0 away at Bashley. Other results saw Bristol Manor Farm beat Cinderford 3-2 Larkhall Athletic beat Paulton Rovers 2-1 while Lymington Town had a good away win at Exmouth Town and Melksham Town and Evesham United drew 2-2.
