With Tavistock dropping two points this gave second place Exmouth Town the opportunity to close the gap at the top to three points which they eventually done after coming from a goal down against Bridport to win 4-1. Mousehole kept up the chase in third place with a 3-1 win against Helston Athletic which keeps them a point behind Exmouth. Fourth place Bridgwater United won 1-0 against Shepton Mallet. Saltash United are in fifth place after a good 2-0 away win at Millbrook. The highest scoring game of the day saw Cadbury Heath win a seven goal thriller against Bitton 4-3. Another team to score four goals on their travels was Wellington who beat Ilfracombe Town 4-0. Other results saw Ashton and Backwell United beat Brislington 2-1 and Clevedon Town won 3-2 at Street.
