Young ones show the way

While the Tiverton Town 1st team have not been able to play due to the pandemic their under 18s development team have been taking part in the Somerset under 18s Covid Cup competition. Tivvy were drawn in a group with Bridgwater Wolves, Minehead and Ruishton. Tivvys opening game saw them earn a credible 1-1 draw away to much fancied Bridgwater Wolves. They followed this up with a 5-3 home win against Minehead. Next up was a trip to Ruishton which Tiverton won 5-1.Next were two home games which saw Tivvy beat Bridgwater Wolves 7-3 in a very exciting game and beating Ruishton 4-0.Their final group game was against Minehead which they won 4-0.Their reward for winning the group ia a home tie in the Quarter Finals against Shepton Mallett to be played on the 16th of May.
