Tiverton Town 1 Sholing 3

Tiverton Towns woes continued as they were dumped out of the FA Cup by Southern League Division One South side Sholing. Tivvy started brightly and took the lead on four minutes when a Alfie Pond cross was headed in by Matt Wright to make it 1-0 to the yellows.
A minute later Louis Morison went close to making it two but his shot went just wide. On ten minutes Gosney in the Sholing goal kept Gary Warren's goalward header out and kept his side in the tie. On
fourteen minutes Sholing put a good passing move together which Joe Adam's finished off with ease to make it 1-1. Tivvy had a couple of chances to go back in front but they just couldn't find the final ball to finish off the move and on thirty seven minutes they paid the price when the visitors broke quickly and Claudio Herbert found himself unmarked in the box to put Sholing 2-1 up. There were no more goals in the first half. Tiverton started the second half having several chances to equalise but again failed to find the finishing touch. With seventy seven minutes gone Don Mason sealed the win and a place in the next round for Sholing when he fired home to make the final score
