Devon St Luke's Bowl 1st Round

Tiverton Town fielded a much stronger team then the one they put out when the two teams met earlier in the season. And it showed from the start as the yellows had the majority of the early play. Rovers were quick on the break but couldn't find a end product when they got close to the Tivvy goal. On thirty minutes Theo Simpson nearly gave Tivvy the lead but his shot hit the post. With thirty six minutes gone Olaf Koszela went passed his marker with ease but his shot goes wide of the far post. Both teams had a couple more chances but the half finished 0-0.
4 minutes into the second half a Louis Morison shot was heading for the top corner but the Rovers keeper pulls off a great save to keep the score level. Tiverton were having the best of the play but could not get the goal their pressure deserved. On fifty eight minutes Theo Simpson hit the post for the second time in the game. With sixty seven minutes gone Gary Warren was knocked to the floor in the box and the ref awarded Tivvy a penalty which Louis Morison put away to give Tivvy a 1-0 lead. 4 minutes later and Theo Simpson was brought down in the box and Tivvy were awarded their second penalty of the night which was again scored by Morison to make the score 2-0 to the yellows. Deep into added on time and a Issac Mccue cross was finished off by Olaf Koszela to make the final score Willand Rovers 0 Tiverton Town 3
