Tiverton started the game very strongly and created several early chances the best of them came from a Dan Hayfield corner which Gary Warren headed onto the Dorchester bar. On thirty two minutes Gary Warren had another header that is this time saved by Harris in the Dorchester goal. Tivvy went close again on forty two minutes when Olaf Koszela curled his shot just wide of the visitors goal. Tivvy dominated the first half but had to settle for a halftime scoreline of 0-0.
Tiverton started the second half like they finished the first in total control of the game but just lacking the finishing touch in front of goal. On fifty one minutes Olaf Koszela puts the ball in the back of the visitors net only for it to be ruled offside. On fifty two minutes Dorchester had their first real attempt on goal but the shot is easily saved by Lewis Williams in the Tivvy goal. Ten minutes later and Dorchester were awarded a penalty when Austin Booth was alleged to have committed a foul in the box. Very soft penalty. Alfie Stanley stepped up and scored from the spot to make it 1-0 to Dorchester. Seventy one minutes gone and Stanley makes it 2-0 from a disputed free kick. Seven minutes later and it was Tivvys turn to be awarded a penalty which Louis Morison converted to make the score 2-1 in Dorchesters favour. On eighty two minutes Olaf Koszela sees his shot tipped over the bar by the Dorchester keeper. Eighty five minutes on the clock and Stanley completes his hattrick when he lobbed Williams in the Tivvy goal from fourty yards to make it 3-1 to the visitors. Eighty nine minutes gone and Jordan Lam pulls one back for Tivvy to make it
2-3 . There was seven minutes of added time but Tiverton could not find the equaliser and the final score was Tiverton Town 2 Dorchester Town 3
