It's getting really tight at the top of the Premier League table with Hayes and Yeading United leading the way on goal difference from second place Taunton Town. Hayes beat Yate Town 4-0 while Taunton won 2-1 at Met Police a result that sees Met end the day in fourth place.
Farnborough sit in third place after a 2-0 home win against Poole Town. Weston Super Mare are in the final play off place after a good 3-1 win at Gosport Borough. At the bottom of the table Merthyr Town are still just about hanging on but a 3-0 home defeat against Chesham United did not help their situation. Another team looking to avoid the drop are Kings Langley who were also beaten at home when they went down 2-1 against Swindon Supermarine. Wimborne are still hoping to beat the drop despite being held to a 0-0 at home by Hartley Wintney. Dorchester Town eased their relegation fears with a 3-0 win against Hendon. The highest scoring game of the day saw Tiverton Town win a eight goal thriller against Beaconsfield Town 5-3 . Other results saw Truro City beat Walton Casuals 2-0 and Harrow Borough and Salisbury played out a 0-0 draw.
In Division One South Plymouth Parkway are top of the table despite losing 3-1 at third place Cirencester. Second and fourth place Frome Town and Bristol Manor Farm played out a 0-0 draw. Winchester City are in fifth place after a good 3-0 win against Melksham Town. Barnstaple Town are bottom of the table but they enjoyed a good 4-0 home win against Highworth while their north Devon rivals Bideford won 1-0 at Larkhall Athletic. Sholing had a good 4-1 at Cinderford Town. Another team to win on their travels were Lymington Town who won 2-1 at Willand Rovers. Other results saw Totton beat Evesham United 1-0 while Paulton Rovers and Mangotsfield drew 1-1.
