Southern League Premier Division South & Division One South


Truro City stay top of the Premier Division South table after winning a seven goal thriller by a 4-3 scoreline at Hayes and Yeading United. Second place Weston Super Mare kept up the chase on the leaders with a 3-0 home win against Hanwell Town. Third played fourth when Chesham drew 2-2 with Poole Town. Hanwell are in fifth place despite losing at Weston. There were some high scoring results in the other Premier games with Bracknell and Plymouth Parkway both scoring six. Bracknell won 6-0 against North Leigh while Plymouth won by the same scoreline against Hendon. Met Police enjoyed a 4-1 away victory at Salisbury. Other teams who won on their travels were Winchester City who won 2-1 at Swindon Supermarine and Tiverton Town who won by the same scoreline at Beaconsfield Town. Hartley Wintney won 3-0 at home against Yate Town. The two remaining games between Gosport Borough and Dorchester Town and Merthyr Town against Harrow Borough both ended in 2-2 draws. In Division One South Sholing stay top of the table despite losing 2-1 at Bideford. Second place Exmouth Town failed to capitalise on the leaders losing when they were also beaten going down 2-1 at home to Bishops Cleave. Frome Town are in third place after a 3-0 victory over Westbury United.
Evesham United are in fourth place after a 0-0 draw at Bashley while Willand Rovers hold onto fifth place despite losing 3-0 at Melksham Town. There were away wins for Totton who won 3-0 at Larkhall Athletic Bristol Manor Farm won 4-2 at Lymington Town while Tavistock won 4-2 at Slimbridge. Wimborne picked up three points with a 3-2 home win against Paulton Rovers. The only other game of the day between Hamworthy and Cinderford ended in a 1-1draw.
