Southern League Premier Division South &Division One South


The top two in the Premier Division South stay where they were despite both losing. Top of the table Weston Super Mare lost 1-0 at Beaconsfield Town while Truro City went down 3-1 at Chesham United who are in third place in the table and closing the gap on the top two. Poole Town are in fourth place after beating Hanwell Town 3-2. Salisbury are in fifth place after a 1-0 away win at Harrow Borough. There were some high scoring games in the remaining games with Yate Town winning a nine goal thriller 5-4 against Gosport Borough while there were eight goals scored when Hayes &Yeading United won 5-3 at Swindon Supermarine. Seven goals were scored at Hendon where the home side were beaten 4-3 by Bracknell Town. Other results saw Merthyr Town win 2-1 at Hartley Wintney while Winchester City and Dorchester Town drew 1-1.
In Division One South Sholing continued their great form at the top with a 2-0 win at Paulton Rovers. Wimborne Town are in second place after beating Bristol Manor Farm 3-2. Third place Exmouth Town won 1-0 at Larkhall Athletic. Totton moved into fourth place with a 6-1 home win against Tavistock while Frome Town went down 1-0 at Bashley and find their self in fifth place in the league table. There were away wins for Lymington Town 2-1 at Bideford and Hamworthy won by the same 2-1 scoreline at Evesham United. Westbury United were 1-0 winners at Slimbridge. Melksham Town and Cinderford played out a 1-1 draw.
