Southern League Premier Division South and Division One South

With the weather putting pay to several of the weekend games including Premier league leaders Weston Super Mare's game against Winchester City it gave second place Truro City the opportunity to close the gap at the top but it wasn't to be as Truro went down 3-2 at Beaconsfield Town. Third place Bracknell Town were another side who's game fell foul of the weather which gave fourth place Chesham United a chance to move closer to them and they took full advantage of it by winning 5-1 against Yate Town. The only other games played in the Premier Division South saw Merthyr Town beat Hanwell Town 3-1 while Salisbury and Dorchester Town played out a 2-2 draw. Just like the Premier Division several Division One South games were lost to the weather. But not even the weather could stop leaders Totton who won 4-0 at fourth place Wimborne Town. Third place Hamworthy moved closer to the top two with a 3-2 victory over Lymington Town. Fifth place Tavistock were beaten 1-0 at Exmouth Town. The only other game played saw Paulton Rovers win 2-0 at Bideford. Source: Paul Gray
